I hear this SOOO often. I want to use my digital photos to:
You wouldn’t believe how many moms have answered “all of the above” in my questionnaire before their photoshoots. Nearly 100% of them. However, 90% of them end up admitting that they never have the time to do so, have no idea where to start, or what printing company they can trust to turn their digital images into tangible products.
Only about 50% of moms end up printing photos to frame in their home. A large portion of them choose a big chain company like Target or CVS.
The stats on album creation are even more slim. I would say only 5% of them get around to choosing an album company, designing the spread, and printing their photos. And 5% is a generous estimate.
But sure, “why not?” You may ask. “Why don’t I just make my own album and shave hundreds of dollars off the heirloom albums price? Well, if quality and time is not very important to you, then by all means do it!
Genuinely.
You should do it!
I encourage all moms to create a memory book for themselves and their kids no matter what, because it’s the thought and the tangible memories that are most important to pass down. In fact, if you are able to, get those scissors out and take a trip to Michael’s and make a scrapbook. I used to LOVE making scrapbooks when I was a teenager and I would spend WEEKS on end measuring, cutting, gluing, carefully handwriting all of the titles of each page.
It was so much fun!
But such a labor of love.
So much time consumed.
A luxury I no longer have as a mom.
Time I would rather spend taking my son outdoors. Time I would rather spend napping or tidying up the house. Also, my back hurts and my fingers get cranky when I spend too long cutting things with scissors. Ahh the joys that we encounter past our 20s, am I right?
It’s for those moms that I decided to offer this service. It was in response to my own predicament. I love photo albums and thoughtful birthday card messages and diary entries. I look at them when I am in my bed on days when I am feeling nostalgic or a bit sad. I think words and pictures are such a powerful thing and I wanted to combine both elements in my heirloom albums to create something that will withstand the test of time.
Imagine an album, with a cover custom made for your family, containing photo memories of you and your loved ones living life and having fun. As much as I take care to give you beautiful and candid images that depict your family in this season of life, I will put the same care into creating this album for you.
My premium heirloom albums feature a custom designed leather cover with elements that you can hand-pick with my assistance, so that the book feels like something you created, without actually having to lift a finger. I will lead you through the whole process of picking what design feels most like you (or you can give me artistic liberties to just put it all together for you ready-made). Inside the album you will have the opportunity to write (or have me ghost write for you) a sweet letter to your loved ones. So little Chloe and Liam can read it with your assistance when they’re in 1st grade, and again on a rainy day when they’re teenagers, and again when they’re off in another state for University, and again when they get ready to welcome their own children, and again when we are long gone from this Earth.
These are the legacy albums I want you to have and to leave behind.
Don’t let time pass you by waiting for the right opportunity and a stretch of free time and motivation for this to happen for you. Let me take the reins and fast track you to the finish line.
